In this undergraduate project carried out at the University of Ruhuna, Galle Sri Lanka an interactive inventory of minor tanks was developed.
A minor tank is defined as a reservoir which irrigates less than 200 acres of land.

A sample map of the final outcome is given below. The tank icons are color coded. The four colors represent the irrigable area of the tank. Yellow 0-50 acres, Green 51 - 100 acres etc. Click on an icon to get details of the tank including a photograph.
